Transfers
Transfers are available when your bus trip requires two bus routes. Transfers should be purchased when paying for your fare. Transfers are issued for continuing one-way travel and are limited to one per trip. Transfers can be made at the Charles W. Dickinson Transportation Center in Downtown Pottstown and Redner's.
PART and SEPTA have entered into a cooperative agreement in which each bus system will accept the transfer of the other.
Sundays/Holidays
PART does not operate on Sunday or on these major holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Special Services
A special curb-to curb service is offered for those persons who have a disability and are unable to ride the bus. Call PART at 610-326-5413 for information on how to become eligible and use this service.
Boarding Tips
Once you know your travel route, go to any designated PART bus stop along that route. Arrive at least five minutes before the bus is scheduled to leave. Each bus displays the name of the route above the windshield. Observe the destination sign carefully since more than one bus route may stop at a particular bus stop. Make sure you are boarding the correct bus. After the bus has come to a complete stop and the door is open, grasp the handrail and carefully climb the stairs. If you have any questions about the route or destination, ask the driver.
